Due to the growth and the considerable pace in which minor hockey is growing and changing, the Peterborough Minor Hockey Council has recently engaged in a critical review of their full range of operations. The PMHC acquired the assistance of student volunteer Derek Olver from the Centre for Community Based Education at Trent University. Derek organized and set up an online survey for our members and conducted an extensive study of the results. Survey topics included tournaments, changes to the team jersey, player releases, import players, off- ice training sessions, volunteering, coaching, registration and development programs. Out of the 170 members of the PMHC, 99 responded to the survey for a 58% response rate. The report resulting from this survey assisted the PMHC to identify levels of satisfaction, areas of concern, and future expectations of the PMHC. On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Derek and all of our members who participated in the survey.
